The 3,000 s.f. house was design to match the existing residential character along the street, based on planning code requirement of City of Los Angeles. The requirement is included style of house, scale, height, size, etc . Especially front elevation’s scale and design vocabulary has to be fit to street character to become small scale residential community even though new constructed house is twice much larger house. The family room is center of the house and all people’s movement can be seen from the family room.
