The property was left as almost unbuildable house site because of narrow steep down cliff lot. 3 cars garage and bedrooms was designed at top of 3-story structure that is street level and entrance hall. Total 5,600 s.f. floor area’s house was built at tight Shallow site. The owner wanted to have contemporary style white house at top of the cliff, 180 degree view toward great Los Angeles plain. The owner also wanted to have swimming pool at lower tight rear yard. The lowest floor is also located dining, kitchen, family room and entertainment rooms. In order to keep below max buildable height, house had to be designed flatroof.
